Jesus prays in John 17, "Father, I pray that all who believe in me can be one. You are in me and I am in you. I pray that they can also be one in us." (Verse 21, ESV).

Something I've been pondering is: Jesus prayed this while walking on the earth - has it been fulfilled yet?

What could it look like if we as the body of Christ actually operated like family - in the place of unity?

What if when one church or denomination wins, we all win? What if we spoke kindly and with grace to others; even when we don't see eye to eye? What if we actually sought to understand rather than judging and getting offended? What if we saw eachother as the Father sees us? What if we were to fight for each other's breakthrough?

What if our goal was to see Jesus glorified, not ourselves or our ministry?

Competition, pride, offense, unfair judgement, bitterness, and hatred cannot exist in us or our ministries if we want to honour Jesus and serve our part in fulfilling His request before the Father.

When the church operates like family, revival breaks out. Authentic revival should in turn birth family. I want to see a harvest - I want to see family.

Make us one, as you are one - this is how they'll know that we belong to You.
