Hey all! What an incredible last two weeks!
If you remember my last blog post, I shared with you all about the depression that had been plaguing me that usually seems to come around during the winter months. My headspace had been awful for about three weeks straight and I was not doing well.
I am SO excited to share with you that after an incredible time of praying for our young adults just last week, I totally got set free and my headspace has been incredible since.
Freedom seems to have been an ongoing theme throughout our church community but ESPECIALLY with our young adults. Check out these two testimonies that some of the young adults shared on Sunday night:
“At the beginning of the year, I received a prophetic word from a friend and prayer warrior that there were areas in my life that I needed healing from. I put my walls up because I did not want to experience the pain that comes with the healing process. This led to a hindered prayer life because I felt like I wasn’t ‘perfect’ enough to come before God in prayer.  I was convinced that I had to heal first using my own strength before I was worthy enough to come before him (The Devil is a Liar). My sisters in Christ prayed for me and I experienced a semi-breakthrough - the past week I felt a burden lifted off my shoulders, I was reminded I am the daughter of a King, God’s grace will for sure cover me during this healing process, I should continue to submit to him and he will handle the rest and I have access to everything I need to become a warrior when it comes to spiritual warfare.”
“This past week has been filled with freedom in so many areas of my life. The most prominent being that of looking at the call God has placed on my life, and no longer being fearful of that call, as well as really starting to understand what it means to be a son adopted into the kingdom of God. Thanks to Jesus, I can now see that all I need to do is say yes to Him, and He will guide me through the rest.”
In light of all that God has been doing, I felt stirred to preach on freedom this past Sunday. I’d love to have you like, share, and be encouraged by what the Lord laid on my heart! You can watch on Facebookor YouTube!

I've been writing lots of music lately. It's been such a joy to be able to turn what God has been doing in the EHOP community into corporate anthems for us to sing. I've made a YouTube playlist that will regularly be updated with recordings of these original songs. You can check it out here!
